The Coppell Chamber of Commerce will welcome University of North Texas System Chancellor Lee F. Jackson as guest speaker at the October luncheon.
Jackson was appointed to the position on September 1, 2002, after three decades of service in government in Dallas and the State of Texas. He is responsible for policy direction, planning, and oversight of the University of North Texas (Denton), the UNT Health Science Center (Fort Worth), the UNT Dallas campus (the future UNT Dallas), and many other system initiatives.
Proceeds from this luncheon benefit the Coppell Community Development Foundation Scholarship Fund.
Last year, CCDF awarded over $15,000 in scholarships to Coppell students.
