A suggested $25 donation per person includes participation in the games and player goodie bag. A $10 donation is suggested for non-players. Players MUST be age 21 and up. Door prize and 50/50 raffle tickets will be sold and prizes awarded at the tournament. Taylor’s Gift merchandise will also be available for purchase.

We hope everyone will join us to raise awareness and funds for an amazing cause,” said Lori Young, Coppell Chamber of Commerce Director of Public Relations.
April is National Donate Life Month, so bring your sunscreen and have fun as you help raise money for a very worthy cause! Prizes will be awarded to the winning teams of each division.
There will be three divisions open for play. Click here for additional tournament information.
- Recreational - Open Gender 6x6 - Recreational teams can be made up of any combination of guys and/or girls. No coed requirements. Recreational players should be defined as players that do not have any competitive experience including leagues other than a C or possibly B level. These players are just in it for the fun!
- Intermediate - Semi-Coed 6x6 - Intermediate teams will be made up of at least 2 girls, but no coed rule. Only two guys in the front row at any time. These players are also in it for the fun, but do play at a moderate league level. They can bump, set and sometimes spike the ball, control a serve, and are considered in the B/BB league skill levels.
- Advanced - Coed 6x6 - Advanced teams will follow the same rules as the Intermediate but will also be governed by the Coed Rule. (If the ball is hit more than once, one of the hits must be by a girl.) Advanced players/teams usually have a history with Volleyball, play tournaments often, can spike with ball with accuracy and power, and often run plays. These teams will be in it for the WIN!

About Taylor’s Gift Foundation - Taylor Storch died after a tragic skiing accident in March 2010. Following the accident, her parents decided to donate Taylor’s organs, in turn saving 5 lives. Todd Storch, Taylor’s dad, says “Taylor was always a giver and in that horrible moment when they came in and asked us, I turned to my wife and we both said yes. Taylor would have wanted it this way.”
The Storch family launched Taylor’s Gift, a foundation dedicated to increasing organ donation awareness to regift life, renew health and restore families. Taylor’s story has touched hearts all over the country and the world especially after national television audiences witnessed an emotional moment when Taylor’s mom Tara was able to hear Taylor’s heart beating inside the woman whose life she saved. According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, over 100,000 Americans are currently awaiting a transplant.
