Coppell Chamber Earns Media Award
Jun 30, 2010 - Coppell, Texas
The Coppell Chamber of Commerce has received a prestigious Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives (TCCE) Media Award for outstanding achievement in websites. The Coppell Chamber was awarded third place in their division. The Coppell Chamber website, www.coppellchamber.org, was designed by Brent Wiethoff of Bofco and is maintained by Chamber staff.
"Our website showcases everything that is great about our Chamber and our community," said Beverly Widner, Chamber President. "This is only the beginning. We will continue to grow and improve our online presence as a reflection of one of the most welcoming and friendliest chambers in Texas."
Awards were presented during the TCCE Annual Conference on June 29 in Nacogdoches. Lori Young, Director of Public Relations, accepted the award on behalf of the Coppell Chamber.
The media contest recognizes outstanding programs statewide. All entries were critiqued by an expert panel on the basis of professional standards. 2010 TCCE Media Contest co-chair Sherry Trainer remarked that more entries were received in 2010 than ever before.
In 2011, the Coppell Chamber, in partnership with the Greater Irving-Las Colinas, Grand Prairie and Grapevine Chambers, will host the TCCE Annual Conference.
TCCE is an organization of chamber executives from across the state, working together to improve the business climate in Texas, while developing ways to enhance the quality of life in the communities that they represent.
