Looking back

Dec 20, 2010

2010 has been a year of successes and great events for the Coppell Chamber of Commerce!

Because so much is done behind the scenes, you often are not aware of how much our Chamber members contribute to our community. I would like to dedicate this post to those hardworking volunteers and personally thank them for everything they do throughout the year.
Our Board of Directors spends a tremendous amount of their time and professional expertise to support the Coppell Chamber.
The Education committee was proud to award over $15,000 in scholarships to Coppell students. We also appreciate the financial support of our members who made that possible.
The Ambassadors welcome our newest chamber members. Knowledge and utilization of chamber benefits is important to keep our membership engaged.
Our Governmental Relations Forum has provided a wealth of information and opportunites to meet with our local, state and national leaders in an intimate setting.
Green Force continues to encourage businesses to strive for sustainable business practices.
Networking is an important element for any successful business. Opportunities for networking abound at the Coppell Chamber - Leads Group, Mega Markets and other events with neighboring chambers.
Our monthly luncheons and BEST Practices  seminars also provide the opportunity to network with colleagues while experiencing enriching speakers.
The annual Coppell Community Gala is certainly our biggest and most extravagant event of the year. This year’s Boogie Ball was a blast, so be sure to mark your calendar for the 2011 Gala on February 26!
The annual Coppell Chamber Golf Classic is always a fall favorite, along with our newest event this year – A Taste of Coppell. We proudly showcased 17 area restaurants at the beautiful new Coppell Senior and Community Center at Grapevine Springs.
Our new, easy to navigate website has proven to be a great tool - providing information about the Chamber, our members and the Coppell community. If you haven’t experienced our award-winning website, make sure to visit coppellchamber.org today.
This is just a quick overview of all the ways your Chamber members help each other and our community.
